Spent a good amout a time…and money at one of the camp stores along the trail this morning until 11am mainly just eating icecream and conversing with campers interested in my through hike.
This was quite the long, long day of stopping in the stores and restaurants along the trail.

It was great for the first 10 minutes, but the next 20 were not the best maneuvering the rocks down a decline.
May take better pictures buzzed. =P
Met up with Sara and Nate, which I honestly have not seen since Roan Mountain. They are super cool people.
I did not realize I would be passing the trail up to Mary’s Rock today. This is one of my most visted hikes in the Shanendoah. I have been here with family, friends, and even dates.

Met doc at the campsite…easily one of the most knowledgeable interesting humans I have met thus far, but can come off as a little creepy (Yes, I know he could possibly see this, but I’d be doing him a favor if he actually does). He seems to be an expert on living off the grid. He claims he is legally only paying public road and school tax with his current setup. I certainly will be checking his videos out online when I get off the trail. Here is his card:
